1. What should my first letter be like?
Of course, it is desired that in your first letter you sent a detailed information about yourself, about the place you live, what are your likes and dislikes, what woman you dream to meet – in general, you have to show your best qualities and that your intentions are serious.
We advise you to send your picture of a good quality with your first letter so that your Lady knew how you look and had a stimulus to answer you.

The thing is that it is impossible for a Russian woman to get either tourist or guest visa to come to America . The only real way for a Russian Woman to come to the USA is by Fiancee Visa, but to get this kind of visa you’ll have to meet each other first at any other country, so that later in the embassy of the USA you could give the proofs that you and your fiancée has really met each other (pictures in which you are together, letters to each other, etc…)

20. How much money shall I take with me?
We can tell you from experience that it is better to have with you between 0
- 00. Some people spend more money and some spend less, it really depends on your taste. Our host cities are all fairly large with attractions and outlets for a variety of tastes and income levels.
21. Do I need additional health assurance?
You should check with your health care insurer and ask if your current policy will cover you outside the US. If not you may want to purchase a rider policy to cover any emergency medical situations, which may occur.

You may take anything you like for personal use except illegal drugs and weapons. Video equipment, cameras, radios, even Lap-top computers are OK.
You can bring up to 250 cigarettes. Also you will find them to be a great bargain in Russia. If something of yours is confiscated for any reason you can ask for a receipt and you may be able to claim it on the way out.

You should contact your travel agent or to contact the embassy of Russia in your country and there you will get the information how to get the visa to Russia which will take not more than two weeks.

25. What shall I wear when in Russia?
Be yourself and dress comfortably during most of your trip. For summer you may take jeans, shorts and trousers. Of course during winter months you will need warm clothes. An umbrellar is also a good item to pack as well. If attend the ballet or opera, you may want something a little more formal. You also have to keep in mind that this will be your only opportunity to make a good first impression.

It may be a good idea to bring along personal and regional pictures. Photos of yourself, your friends and family, home, cars and your activities – this will allow your Lady to have a better understanding of who you are and what the place of your living looks like.

Most of Russian women seem to like European Dark Chocolate. We might also suggest for something produced in your particular area of the USA which you are proud of and can make a nice gift.
29. What about money?
There are legal exchange offices practically everywhere, including hotels, restaurants, boutiques, etc….. where you ‘ll have the chance to exchange your money for the local currency. You will be asked to fill in the currency statement When you enter the country. This statement is desired to prevent people from taking out more money than they brought in.
30. What about credit cards?
Visa, Master Card, Euro-Card, and American Express are widely accepted.
Travelers checks are probable the best way to carry your cash since they are refundable. You may use them to pay direct for many goods and services in the city. Once you get outside of the city, the travelers checks can be more difficult to cash.
American Express is the most widely recognized brand. All in all it’s a good idea to bring a combination of cash, travelers checks and credit-cards
31. How much are the calls to the USA from the Hotel?
The rate per minute form the Hotel to the USA is approximately ,99 or higher.
The rates from the hotel to outline areas are ,99 per minute or higher.
Local calls from the hotel are about 15 cents or so per minute. This rates are subject to change. Thus we recommend checking with the Hotel prior to make any long-distance calls. Some Hotel may block any use of AT&T calling cards from the rooms. We are not sure about the LCI or other long-distance calling cards. We are of the impression that your long-distance calling cards will work from the pay-. phones in the lobby. There is direct dialing to the rooms and with a call back card you can avoid expensive hotel long-distance charges.
32. What about the electricity?
The electricity is 220 volts, 50 Hz Ac. The sockets do require a Continental or European plug adapter with two round pins. American appliances need a 220V to 110V/100V converter.
33. What is an acceptable age difference for Russian ladies?
5-15 years age difference is perfectly normal. In the USA this age gap is beyond reality. In your search for Russian wife it’s not. Why? Women in Russia grow wise at younger age and having a relationship with a foreign man of their own age is like having an affair with a teenager. Difficulties in life make people thoughtful the same way as age does. The age difference also adds to women’s feeling of security. On the other hand, you shouldn’t have some unrealistic expectations. If you are in your late 50’s or 60’s you must not expect to find a 20 year old single girl. Many wonderful attractive ladies in their late 30’s or 40’s will eagerly get acquainted with you, all the more that half of our ladies belong to this group. And you will not have any problems with attracting their attention. This is real.
